A powerful blast in a car happen just day before Election in Punjab. The tragedy occur close to a rally of a Congress candidate near Bathinda on Tuesday evening.
3 people were reported to be killed and 15 were injured in Maur Mandi town blast. At that time Harminder Jassi (Congress Candidate) was addressing a rally at same place and blast happen near to the rally.
Among the injured 10 were reported seriously injured and were admitted to hospitals in Maur Mandi and Bathinda.
One of the witnesses said that the blast happen in a white Maruti 800 car, which was parked at the spot for some time & no one removed it despite police making announcements to get it removed. The car was completely damaged in blast.
After immediate police action still no conspiracy behind the incident were found.
