Yesterday PM Narendra Modi has addressed a rally in Fatehpur. Congress party is going to file a complaint against PM Modi with Election Commission over his statements that he said in his Fatehpur rally.
Congress party has accused PM Modi of polarising the UP assembly elections When he drew a parallel between Hindu and Muslim festivals and accused Akhilesh Yadav government for discrimination on the basis of religion.
PM Modi on Sunday at a rally in Fatehpur told that if in a village during the Ramzan electricity is supplied then electricity should be supplied during Diwali as well. There should not be any unfairness on the basis of caste and religion.
The Congress and Samajwadi Party attacked PM Modi and asked EC to take an action and urged that the PM to refrain making such statements which will bring a dispute to his post.
The first three phases of the UP assembly elections are over and the next four phases will take place between February 23 and March 8. The counting of assembly election votes will be held on March 11.
