As we all know that Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is going to be held soon. From April 17 to May 19, the elections phase is held in seven phases. All political parties try their luck in Lok Sabha polls by representing their candidates from different regions. AAP too announces the list of their candidates. AAP head Arvind Kejriwal and other leaders continue their mission to maintain the political menace in Punjab and contest for all the 13 seats all by alone out(not tie-up with any other party) of which eight of the candidate names are announced.
Last October, the party declared the name of five candidates and they are written below:
- Bhagwant Mann from Sangrur – The most popular face in Punjab as Sangrur MP and state unit head.
- Sadhu Singh from Faridkot – Member of Parliament from Faridkot and General Election 2014 winner as an AAP candidate.
- Ravjot Singh from Hoshiarpur – Have years of medical field experience.
- Kuldip Singh Dhaliwal from Amritsar – After Sukhpal Singh Kaira, he will become Second prominent state Congress leader and formerly work as state party spokesperson.
- Narinder Singh Shergill from Anandpur Sahib
The other three candidate names announced on 24 March, Sunday:
- Jora Singh from Jalandhar
- Baljinder Singh Chaunda from Fatehgarh Sahib
- Peter Masih Cheeda from Gurdaspur
In the recent interview, Senior AAP leader Mr Budhram said, “Mr Chaunda is presently serving as the vice-president of the party’s State SC wing. Mr Jora Singh retired as judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Mr Cheeda is working as the halqa incharge of Fatehgarh Churian of the AAP”.
