On Wednesday Nasim Zaidi, the Chief Election Commissioner held a press conference with media to announce that the Punjab Elections will be held in single phase only and the last date to withdraw nomination is 18th January, scrutiny of candidates will be on 19th January and withdrawal of candidature can be done before 21st January.
