Capt. Amarinder Singh Will Take Oath As Punjab CM On 16 March

Senior Congress party leader Captain Amarinder Singh will took oath as Punjab new elected Chief Minister on March 10, 2017. Today he will meet Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to discuss the formation of new government in Punjab.

The oath taking ceremony will be held on Thursday, however till now party refused to disclose the number of ministers who will be part of the new cabinet. Captain earlier held an official meeting with Governor V. P. Singh Badnore in order to sharing thoughts on forming new government in the state.

Sidhu as deputy CM?

However the Amarinder told that the number of cabinet & deputy CM will be decided by party high command in his meeting with Rahul Gandhi today, but rumors are on full swing that Navjot Singh Sidhu would be sworn as Amarinder’s deputy. On the other hand cricketer turned politician Congress’ Amritsar East MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu have already cleared to the media on his future role in Punjab that “If I get a role, will leave everything for Punjab”. Now it is really interesting to watch does party appoint Sidhu as deputy CM or not?
