Jaswant Singh Kapoor who is a Nabha farmer and AAP supporter is waiting for the results of Punjab assembly elections like other candidates.
Since February 4 assembly elections, Jaswant Singh Kapoor each evening went to government college to keep a close eye on the EVMs locked in a strong room from his home to Patiala city which is 25 km away from his home.
He also spends the nights in a tent on government college campus with other AAP supporters. Like him, many AAP supporters are doing the same thing i.e keeping a close eye on the EVMs. They are guarding almost all the EVMs that are kept in 59 strongrooms across the state.
Only the supports of AAP are doing so and SAD-BJP alliance, Congress party supporters not showing any interest in this.
Kapoor and other AAP supporters said that we did not want to take any chance. Earlier the national convener of AAP Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue of shifting the EVMs from this Patiala strongroom. But after an inspection done by election commission proved that nothing wrong is done with the EVMs.
