Senior Congress Leader To Lose Ludhiana Seat: Punjab Assembly Elections 2017

As the congress party is all set to announce candidate for the last 9 seats in Punjab, Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari might be seeing on losing side as he want to contest from Ludhiana but according to party local MP Ravneet Bittu seems to be more relevant contender.
Congress is looking forward to present strong contestant for the Punjab assembly elections and they have already implemented this by including cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu into their party. The former BJP MP Sidhu met Rahul Gandhi Vice President of congress on Sunday and further after their meet Captain Amarinder Singh announced Navjot’s inclusion in the Congress Party. Sidhu use social media to present this further he tweeted “beginning of a new inning”. He further said that the state of Punjab, Punjabiyat and every Punjabi must win.

On the other hand Captain Amarinder in public expressed his choice to put Sidhu against Sukhbir Singh Badal candidate of ruling Shiromani Akali Dal from Amritsar East constituency.
Sidhu’s wife, Navjot Kaur already stated that she will do campaign for her husband Before the official announcement she also confirm that Sidhu will be joining congress party.
