If AAP lost in Punjab then Congress will get a chance to challenge the BJP in 4 other states elections.
Kejriwal who appeared as a front-runner in Punjab. When he contested elections in Delhi , he was seen as a person who wants to change the corrupted existing system. In punjab AAP party won 4 seats in 2014 polls, so he has been seen as the top contender.
BJP is not worried about the results of the this year’s elections with the UP going to polls simultaneously. BJP will distance itself from Punjab and leave it to the Badals to make an suitable as well as effective strategy for the battle between SAD and other regional rivals. But this year only a miracle can save it from a poll triangle .
PM Narendra Modi would be worried if he loses in UP and SAD-BJP gets wiped out in Punjab. But, still he is considered as the giant to beat in 2019 elections. But if Congress and AAP loses in Punjab then this is the end of the road which leads them to Delhi.
